A lovely optional extra – the Tractor Driving Experience is booked and priced separately from your cottage, so you can add it if you’d like an hour behind the wheel. Places are limited and run on set mornings, so booking ahead secures your seat.

At David’s Organic Farm, tractor driving is the signature experience that lifts a countryside stay to something you’ll talk about for years. Guided by one of our experienced farmers, you’ll spend a full hour behind the wheel, exploring real farm tracks and discovering the thrill of life on the land. It’s a bookable extra, priced separately from your accommodation, scheduled for Sunday or Monday mornings at 10:30 — which fits a Friday-to-Monday long weekend perfectly. Staying midweek? Just ask when you book and we’ll do our best to fit a session into the farm week. To secure your spot, please book at least two weeks in advance.

Book your stay
Click “Book Now” and select your dates. A minimum stay of three nights is required — either a long weekend from Friday to Monday, or a midweek break.

Choose to add the Tractor Driving Experience to your stay. It carries its own set price, separate from the cottage, so you know exactly what you are booking.

Prefer Not to Drive the Tractor?
Ride Along While the Farmer Works
If driving feels a little daunting, there’s a gentler way to enjoy it. Our In-Cab Tractor Ride is perfect for nervous adults and teens (13+), letting you sit beside the farmer while real farm work is carried out. It’s relaxed, safe and a brilliant way to experience the tractor, the tracks and the working farm — all without taking the wheel. Like the driving experience, it is an optional extra, added to your booking when you choose it.
