Depending on the time of year, jobs may include:
- Collecting silage bales from the field with the big flatbed trailer
- Stacking bales onto the trailer and offloading bales on the yard
- Carting stone or muck and dumping the loads
- Driving alongside the combine and collecting our oats & peas
- Chain harrowing
- Rolling
- Muck Spreading
- Hedge cutting
- Mowing
- Tedding
- Raking up
Half an Hour
- A quick walk around the tractor explaining the functions
- We will then drive around the farm yard where parents can view and take photos
- We will then drive along farm tracks, through the river and back to the yard
One Hour
- A detailed walk around the tractor explaining & demonstrating the functions.
- We will then drive around the farm yard where parents can view and take photos
- Depending on the time of year, we will then carry out one of the jobs listed above
Over One Hour
- A detailed walk around the tractor explaining & demonstrating the functions.
- We will then drive around the farm yard where parents can view and take photos
- Depending on the time of year, we will then carry out more than one of the jobs listed above
Children Must be over 13 years
We are only able to offer children over the age of 13 years old and over the height of 135cm to participate in the tractor ride sitting in the passenger seat in compliance with HSE standards.
Over 20 Red kites & Buzzards were spotted!
As well as experiencing farm life, you will most likely see wildlife! Every day we see a wide variety of Birds, Squirrels, Foxes, and Badgers. The greatest number of Red kites and Buzzards we’ve seen in one go was over 20!
